Give your agent a durable, file-backed plan it actually follows.

Planning-with-files replicates the Manus approach: the agent writes plans, tasks and progress to Markdown, so long multi-step jobs stay coherent and resumable.

planning-with-files is an Agent Skill that gives coding agents a Manus-style persistent planning loop: the plan lives in Markdown files on disk, so an agent that loses its thread mid-task can pick the plan back up instead of starting over.
The mechanics are deliberately file-based: each agent appends one JSON line per event to a ledger under .planning/, each parallel task gets its own isolated plan via init-session.sh, an .attached marker authorizes context without starting the session, and a parallel-write guard warns the next turn if checked items or completed phases were touched concurrently.
It installs as a skill for Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and friends, and documents per-host setup including Cursor, Copilot, Mastra, Gemini CLI and Kiro.
