Earlier ACE-Step stack — still useful if you follow v1 tutorials

The original ACE-Step release popularized fast open music generation with lyric controls. Prefer 1.5 for new projects, but keep v1 when a tutorial or Comfy workflow still pins it.

Deep dive

ACE-Step is the original release of the ACE-Step music generation stack: a command-line and API tool that turns lyrics and style prompts into full songs on consumer hardware.

It runs as a CLI (acestep --port 7865) with a Gradio UI, or as an API you install via pip from the repo — plus advanced flags for checkpoint path, device selection and public sharing.

The project publishes a Chinese-rap LoRA for a distinct vocal style, a training guide for your own LoRAs, and example input params to get you generating in minutes.
