E2B is an open-source secure cloud sandbox for AI code execution: every session gets an isolated, sandboxed filesystem and shell that an agent can run code in without touching your machine.
The SDKs (Python, JavaScript) spin up a sandbox in about 150ms, run arbitrary code inside it, read and write files, and tear it down when the session ends — the same primitive that powers code interpreters and agent tooling.
The server side is open source and can be self-hosted; the hosted service adds Google Cloud and general Linux machine options (via Embed) plus a dashboard and API keys for teams.
