Show it a video you love; get a new video in the same style.

ReelMimic dissects a reference video — pacing, shot grammar, typography, music feel — then has an AI crew (Claude Code or Codex, plus the fal MCP) plan, generate and edit a new video that mimics the style. It is style mimicry as a pipeline, not a filter.

Deep dive

reelmimic is a ◆沧海遗珠 style-mimic video tool: hand it a video you like and it reverse-engineers the filmmaking — shot count, shot lengths, BPM, transitions — then directs a new video in that same style with AI agents.

It shows you the plan before rendering anything: storyboard, characters, assets and a few style references for confirmation. Up to six AI agents then share the work across different parts of the production.

Every fix comes with proof — before and after screenshots, a reason, and a diff — so you can trust the iteration loop instead of guessing what changed. Install is a git clone plus one script.

Use cases

Recreate the vibe of a viral ad with your own footage
