InstantID is zero-shot identity-preserving image generation: one face photo locks the identity, and the model then renders that person in new styles, poses and scenes — no per-subject fine-tuning required.
It plugs into the diffusers ecosystem, supports LCM acceleration and multiple control signals, and ships a local Gradio demo so you can try the identity workflow before wiring it into an app.
The project site documents results and the method, and the same lab's InstantStyle work extends the style-control side of the approach.
